What do you learn from a celebrant course??

For the most part, Celebrant courses contain much of the same content.

This includes rituals of ceremonies, tips on public speaking, how to write scripts, the type of ceremonies you can perform.

The biggest part of a Celebrant course by far – what I found, anyway - were the legal aspects. There’s a lot more to it than one might think - for example; notice periods, what can be said during a ceremony, identification measures etc.

There’s also info on if people who are related can get married, which is not a wormhole I wish to trundle down (does anyone?).

Even the most experienced Celebrants should be refreshing their knowledge on marriage and the law, hence why there’s numerous compulsory online professional development courses every year.

My Celebrant Buddy cuts through a lot of this. You - or a friend / family member you have in mind to offciaite the ceremony - won’t have to go through all the rigours of study (the equivalent of a Cert IV).

Instead the legals will be taken care of, leaving you - or your Celebrant Buddy - to focus on the performative part of a ceremony.

Plus, there's a collection of short online lessons I have developed that will help build the ceremony from start to finish.

If this tickles a fancy, feel free to find out how it works.

You can also find out more on a list of Celebrant courses available should you choose to roll down that path.

I also have my Celebrant website here if you’d like me to do the job.

Oh, the options!
