STEP 1 - START THE LESSONS

A series of lessons will be sent to you.

They cover everything you need to create an amazing ceremony.

And don’t worry - they’re super fun and easy (and short!).

  • Two gold wedding rings placed on an open dictionary showing the word "marriage."

STEP 2 - SELECT THE LEGAL PACKAGE

All legal paperwork is taken care of by Paul Bonadio - that’s me! - a Celebrant of seven years.

OPTION A) - I complete all legal obligations completed in the week prior to the ceremony (meaning your couple is legally married before their wedding day).
    $750 (plus $75 GST)

OPTION B) - I come to the wedding either before or after your ceremony and complete all the legal obligations so your couple is officially married on the wedding day.
    $990 (plus $99 GST)

OPTION C) - I come to the ceremony (or source a trusted celebrant if I’m unavailable) to complete all the legal obligations during the ceremony.
    $1190 (plus $119 GST)

  • Bride and groom smiling at outdoor wedding ceremony, surrounded by guests.

    STEP 3 - LET'S START THE SHOW!

The lessons are over. The script is complete. The legals are in place.

    Let’s do this!

 FAQs

  • Usually two weeks. The lessons sent will help build the ceremony from start to finish. I’ll always be on hand to help, too.

  • It takes about five minutes. Max. You will sign the following:

    • 2 x Marriage Certificates.

    • Declaration of No Legal Impediment to Marriage.

The Celebrant (either myself or a sourced Celebrant, depending on the package you have chosen) will also say the Celebrant’s Authority and help you with your Legal Vows.

    That’s it! Nice and easy.

  • It depends on the option you chose:

    • OPTION A (legal obligations completed in the week prior to the ceremony)…
It can be at a park, backyard, bar. Anywhere.

    • OPTION B (legal obligations completed either before or after the ceremony)…
If it’s before the ceremony, it’s usually in the morning while everyone is getting ready, or it can happen during the first look.

If after the ceremony, it can take place during the reception, or sometimes is incorporated into speeches.

    • OPTION C (all legal obligations completed during the ceremony)…
It usually happens during the ceremony. Some couples decide to do it while signing the legal documents at the end of the ceremony.

  • Yes.

  • The lessons cover everything from start to finish, but I’ll be on hand to check over scripts, discuss positioning, music etc. I’ve done more than 500 ceremonies and love being a Celebrant sensei.

  • Yes, those prices include the lessons and the all the paperwork completed.

There is an additional marriage certificate from the government your couple can choose to apply for. It can be used to change your name and is around 50 dollars. This is not included in the price as some couples opt not to purchase it.
